Your information

This page explains what we collect when you book a treatment, why we need it, where it is kept, and how to have it removed.

What we collect

When you book an appointment through this website, we ask for:

  • Your name, email address and phone number, so we can confirm your appointment and reach you if anything changes.
  • The treatment, date and time you selected.
  • Anything you choose to tell us in the “anything we should know” field — typically allergies, sensitivities, skin concerns, medications, pregnancy or breastfeeding, or recent cosmetic procedures.
  • Your acceptance of the Facial Treatment Consent, your answer to the video recording question, and the name you type as an electronic signature, together with the date and time you submitted it.

We do not ask for and never store payment card details on this website. Payment is taken in the studio.

Why we need the health details

Esthetic treatments are cosmetic, not medical. Even so, allergies, medications, pregnancy and active skin conditions change what is safe to use on your skin. We ask so that your esthetician can adapt, postpone or decline a treatment where there is a contraindication. You are not obliged to share anything — but withholding relevant information may mean a treatment cannot go ahead safely.

Where it is kept

Booking details and signed consent records are stored in a private Google Workspace account (Google Sheets) belonging to Michelle's Skin Studio, and confirmation emails are sent through the same account. Access is limited to the studio owner. Google processes and stores this data on our behalf under its own security and privacy terms.

How long we keep it

Signed consent forms and treatment records are retained for seven years from your most recent appointment, which is the standard retention period for esthetic treatment records in Texas. Booking contact details are kept for the same period. After that, records are deleted.

Who else sees it

Nobody. We do not sell, rent, trade or share your information with third parties for marketing. The only parties involved are Google, as the provider that hosts our records and delivers our email, and any authority we are legally required to respond to.

Video and photography

The booking form asks separately whether you consent to being recorded or photographed. Answering “no” has no effect on your treatment or on your ability to book — it simply means no images of you are captured or used. If you say yes and later change your mind, tell us and we will stop using them; email or call using the details below.

Clients under 18

The Teen Glow Facial is intended for younger skin. A parent or legal guardian must book, provide consent and sign on behalf of anyone under 18, and we ask that they attend the appointment.

Managing or removing your appointment

Every confirmation email contains a private link that lets you view, reschedule or cancel that appointment. The link is unique to you — please do not forward it.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your records

You can ask us at any time for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email or call using the details below and we will respond within 30 days. Where we are required to retain a signed consent record for the period described above, we will tell you and delete it once that period ends.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no cookies and runs no advertising or analytics trackers. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the request for the font files as your browser loads the page.

Changes to this page

If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and the date shown above.
